We at ClimateClips dispute the general view framing mankind as the culprit of Climate Change.
ClimateClips is set up to bring you video clips with basic knowledge and news from climate science. We base our stories on what is measurable in nature.
We believe that critical journalism is needed and questions still have to be asked! We will try hard to dig deeper and present stories you most likely won´t get on your tv- set. We dispute the “science is settled “ proclamations.
Enjoy our webisodes and meet scientists from all over the world presenting their fascinating climate stories. Take a stroll down the road of knowledge. You might even feel happy after a while.
Statement from publisher:
Lars Oxfeldt Mortensen
I’m fascinated by the climate and it’s complexity. Having produced and directed 3 documentaries on the climate issue during the last decade, this work has led me to conclude that we humans still have a lot to learn about the past and the present climate to better understand the future.
Over the years I have filmed and interviewed a number of eminent leading climate scientists. And what strikes me is that among scientists, who engage in empirical research in nature, there is a true curiosity and open minded determination to understand the complexity in all the aspects of climate science. They all agree, that it is very dangerous to proclaim that climate science is settled. They know we still have so much to understand about natural climate drivers that we cannot claim that global warming is confined only to human attribution of greenhouse gasses into our atmosphere.
These scientists have inspired me to still be curious about what parameters that drives climate. I have set up this web page to share their views with hopefully many visitors. We need your help to continue the production of new interesting climateclips.
Main stream Climate science and journalism has become a belief system focusing on framing only one culprit; manmade global warming. This is dangerous for both democracy and science.
On this web site you will learn that there is no consensus among leading scientists of the world. Your basic knowledge about climate will hopefully broaden and add new aspects to the question. The climate is not a one sided story as some alarmists want us to believe. Climate alarmism is basically founded on insufficient climate models that predict catastrophic future warming and we must cut CO2 emissions now. But the human enhanced greenhouse effect is still a theory. And the precautionary principle the IPCC want us to act on is a paper tiger -not science. As a famous Chinese philosopher Lao TZU from the 6th century BCE said: “Those who have knowledge, don’t predict. Those who predict, don’t have knowledge”. I hope knowledge will triumph!
